TEAM NEWS! Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw start for Manchester United v Bournemouth

Both Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw __have returned to Manchester United’s starting line-up for their Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

The two sides will get this weekend’s Premier League action underway at Old Trafford – kick off 12:30pm.

Record scorer Rooney’s long-term future at the club has been in some doubt this season given his reduced role under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils captain has sat out of the club’s last six games, and has started just eight Premier League matches this season.

But Mourinho said on Friday that he is keen for the striker to stay at the club, amid links with moves to former club Everton and the mega-rich Chinese Super League, and he backed up his claims by naming him the starting XI to face the Cherries.

Shaw also returns, having last played in United’s 4-0 FA Cup win over Wigan back in January, in a strong team named by Mourinho, as the Red Devils aim to break into the Premier League’s top four with victory.
