Real Madrid are considering a shock move for Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to reports in Spain.
The 30-year-old has been in fine form this season, despite the Foxes previously struggling under the management of Claudio Ranieri.
Schmeichel, son of Manchester United legend Peter, has been particularly impressive in the Champions League, conceding just twice in six games to help Leicester reach the quarter-finals.
And it is that form at the highest level in Europe which has sparked interest from Real Madrid in the Denmark international.
The Spanish giants are reportedly in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with current number one Keylor Navas likely to be sold.
Madrid __have been linked with AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma, David De Gea of Manchester United and Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, but Schmeichel is now reportedly on their shortlist too.
