Arsenal and Liverpool told to pay £26 million to sign RB Leipzig star Naby Keita

Arsenal and Liverpool will __have to fork out £26m if they want to sign RB Leipzig star Naby Keita.

The midfielder is on the radar of the two Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window after a good season in Germany, and has been compared to Chelsea’s superb midfield player N’Golo Kante.

Originally there had been talk of a release clause in the 22-year-old's current contract, but that has been denied by RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick.

Instead, according to Bild, Keita will cost Arsenal and Liverpool £26m if they want to sign him up this summer.

Leipzig still remain confident of keeping the Guinean for one more year, particularly if they secure Champions League football for next season.

The German club are currently second in the Bundesliga and believe such a finish - and European football - would persuade Keita to stay one more season.
