Michael Carrick says he is as hungry as ever for success at Manchester United.
The veteran midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to hold talks over a new deal.
Carrick will turn 36 in July but, after adding the EFL Cup to his trophy haul on Sunday, he has suggested that he is ready to extend his decade-long stay if Jose Mourinho wants to keep him.
Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT's Sam Matterface, he said. "Sometimes your body tells you enough is enough, even if you want to do it. I __have seen that before. But I think mentally as well you __have got to have that drive to want to achieve more and the minute that goes, that is the time to say, 'you know what, I've achieved what I want to achieve, now it is time to go'.
"But, at the moment, that drive is as big as ever, especially when you are picking up trophies like we did on Sunday. You get that feeling again and you want and need more of that. I want to win more."
