Ciro Immobile spared Italy's blushes on Sunday evening __with an injury-time winner against Macedonia.
After Andrea Belotti had opened the scoring in the first half, the home side turned the game on its head in three second-half minutes __with strikes from Ilija Nestorovski and Ferhan Hasani.
Macedonia led until the 75th minute when Immobile scored the equaliser, but it looked like Italians were going to be denied victory as the game entered added time.
But there was a late twist as Immobile jumped to head home and make it 3-2, sparking wild celebrations among the relieved Italian players.

It was an important goal too as it ensures Italy remain level with Spain - who beat Albania 2-0 - on seven points at the top of World Cup qualifying Group G.
