Liverpool are NOT planning a January swoop for Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne.
The forward is currently locked in talks over a new contract but negotiations __have hit a brick wall and are on the rocks.
Insigne is demanding Napoli pay him more than £100,000-a-week, but the Italian club __have deemed that salary too high.
Liverpool had been touted as an alternative destination for the 25-year-old, who is a big fan of Jurgen Kloop.
But, according to Radio Marte, the Reds will not be making an approach for Insigne during the January transfer window.
Napoli want around £44m for the Italian and, while the asking price is that high, Liverpool will not make their move.
