Presidential candidate Donald Trump makes the League Cup draw on Saint and Greavsie

Donald Trump makes the Rumbelows Cup draw on Saint and Greavsie

Manchester United v Manchester City is live on talkSPORT at 20.00 (BST) on Wednesday 26 October.

"Oh, Donald, you don't realise what you've done!"

Before he was attempting to become the 45th President of America, Donald Trump helped Ian St John and Jimmy Greaves out with the draw for the 1992 League Cup (aka Rumbelows Cup for sponsorship reasons) quarter-final draw.

The duo were in New York and met Trump inside the modestly named Trump Tower to film the bit for ITV programme Saint and Greavsie.

And with the final ball he managed to pair Leeds with Man United, the team they love to hate, at a time when they had been drawn against each other in the FA Cup, as well as facing each other in the First Division as title rivals.

Man United emerged as victors in both cups, going on to beat Forest in the final of the Rumbelows, but Leeds pipped the Red Devils to the championship.

Now, 24 years later, should Leeds get past Norwich and Man United edge Man City in the EFL Cup fourth round this week, perhaps Hilary Clinton might fancy doing the quarter-final draw?
