Gossip: Aguero out, Aubameyang in at City

AGUERO OUT, AUBAMEYANG IN
Could this really be happening? We think Sergio Aguero and Pep Guardiola and both brilliant so we have split loyalties here but rumours of the Argentine striker leaving Manchester City continue to circulate __with the Sunday Mirror claiming that Guardiola wants to replace him __with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who would cost just £58m. After Paul Pognba, anything under £80m sounds like pocket money.

Relations between Aguero – who was dropped for the Champions League clash with Barcelona – are said to be ‘tense’, news which will be welcomed by PSG, AC Milan and pretty much every other club in Europe.

INAKI WILLIAMS WANTS BILBAO STAY
He has been strongly linked with Liverpool and Spanish newspaper AS say the Reds ‘are back knocking at the door’, but Inaki Williams has made it clear that he wants to stay at Athletic for many years to come.

He told AS: “Like I said at the time. I’m happy at Athletic, it’s where I want to be. I am very grateful to the fans, the club and my team mates. I want to continue here for many more years.

“I want to be Athletic’s furture No.9 – the player who raises the roof at San Mamés every week and scores lot of goals.”

ROMAGNOLI WANTS MILAN STAY
After three Premier League clean sheets, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte might not be so heartbroken at the news as he would have been a month ago, but Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli has said that he wants to remain in Italy, even if Chelsea come calling with a £49m offer.

“I am happy at Milan and in Italy, so I hope to remain here,” he said. The Sun bring us the story and claim that David Luiz was Conte’s FIFTH-CHOICE defender. But it’s gone pretty sodding well so far.
