Alfie Mawson (Swansea City 2-0 Leicester City)
The young defender smashed home a brilliant volley to set Swansea on their way to a vital win over Leicester at the Liberty.
With three goals in his last six league appearances, he is making a happy habit of scoring at crucial times for Paul Clement's side.
He was excellent at the other end too, making nine clearances and two interceptions as the Foxes put the pressure on in the second half.
Michael Keane (Burnley 1-1 Chelsea)
The former Manchester United man has picked up plenty of praise this season, and his latest performance was up there with the best of the lot.
Chelsea had just two shots on target in their 1-1 draw at Turf Moor on Super Sunday, the last of those coming with Pedro's goal in the seventh minute, a statistic that is testament to Keane and his defensive team-mates' showing.
He won more duels than any other player (83 per cent), and let nothing get past him aerially or on the floor as Chelsea pushed in the second half.
Clubs will no doubt come calling for the 24-year-old in the summer. Can Burnley keep him?
Sadio Mane (LIVERPOOL 2-0 Tottenham)
Liverpool badly missed the Senegal international during his recent absence at the Africa Cup of Nations, with Jurgen Klopp's side not winning in the Premier League during that time.
However, the vibrant forward turned in an inspired display on Saturday to help the Reds beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Anfield, with Mane scoring both their goals in the space of just 138 first-half seconds.
As a result, Mane now has 11 goals to his name this campaign, proving it was money well spent to bring the player from Southampton last summer.
Juan Mata (MAN UTD 2-0 Watford)
When Jose Mourinho arrived at Old Trafford in the summer, you'd have forgiven Juan Mata for prepping himself for departure from Manchester United.
But the Spaniard, sold by Mourinho while at Chelsea in January 2014, has been on fine form this season, and his performance in the 2-0 win over Watford was one of his best.
For the first goal, Mata's lovely flick set up a sweeping move, finished off by the midfielder himself, while the 28-year-old also made four key passes and more interceptions than any other players (3).
Mata is vital for United in games where the opposition set up to defend, and has turned into Mourinho's valued locksmith.
Manolo Gabbiadini (Sunderland 0-4 SOUTHAMPTON)
The £17m January addition from Napoli looks to be exactly what Southampton have been missing this season.
He scored two more at the Stadium of Light on Saturday to add to a debut strike against West Ham, with all three goals showing something a little bit different.
If his blast against the Hammers was pure power, the delightful turn and finish for his second at Sunderland demonstrated great balance and tidy technique.
David Moyes bemoaned the opener and the Black Cats boss had every reason to feel aggrieved; the ball deflecting off Gabbiadini's arm before nestling past Vito Mannone.
But Southampton fans won't care one bit. Having lacked a goal threat for much of the campaign, the Italy international looks to be the finisher they've needed since selling Graziano Pelle and Sadio Mane.
Victor Valdes (MIDDLESBROUGH 0-0 Everton)
In a game of few clear chances at the Riverside, Valdes stood firm to deny Everton when they did get sights of goal.
The Boro keeper saved one-on-one from Romelu Lukaku in the first half and then denied Ademola Lookman from close range.
He came to Boro's rescue again after the break, blocking Lookman's shot after he was played in by Ross Barkley.
"Victor has been amazing for us since he arrived," said Boro head coach Aitor Karanka afterwards. "He has come from a long injury and needed to recover his confidence, but I knew when he did he would be a really important player."
Valdes was certainly important in helping Middlesbrough secure a goalless draw against the Toffees.
Joe Allen (STOKE 1-0 Crystal Palace)
Joe Allen was a constant threat swarming in and around knock-downs from Peter Crouch as continues to make the No 10 position his own.
The equally impressive Marko Arnautovic linked up with the Wales international delightfully throughout, as the pair combined with youngster Ramadan Sobhi for the game's only goal.
Allen's late run proved he is finding a knack of arriving at the right time, as he calmly slotted Sobhi's lay-off into the bottom corner to seal an excellent performance.
Alexis Sanchez (ARSENAL 2-0 Hull)
The Chile international was off colour against Chelsea but he was back on the goal trail against Hull.
Arsenal were not convincing but Sanchez was at the heart of most of the Gunners good work going forward.
He was fortunate with the first but was in the right place at the right time as the ball bounced into the back of the net off his hand.
However, there was no doubt about the second which sealed all three points. He was influential in the build-up as well, crossing for Lucas Perez, whose head was handled on the line by Sam Clucas. Up stepped Sanchez to convert from the spot to score his 17th goal of the season - his best return in a Premier League campaign.
Manuel Lanzini (West Ham United 2-2 West Bromwich Albion)
His goal that completed the Hammers' comeback was worthy of winning any match, so will therefore feel especially aggrieved about West Brom's last-gasp leveller. The Baggies' backline did back off too deep, but Lanzini certainly took full advantage, getting plenty of power and swerve behind the ball.
The 23-year-old was unlucky to see another brilliant effort kept out by Ben Foster earlier in the half. No other player had as many attempts at goal as the Argentine, he was the only Hammers player to have over 90 per cent passing accuracy in the opposition half, remaining a constant threat throughout the match.
What he did so well was pick up different positions all over the forward line, making him very difficult to pick up. He now needs to replicate such form more consistently.
