Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra is ready to seal a move to China after leaving Marseille.
The 31-year-old has left the French club after both parties agreed to mutually terminate his contract and he is now hunting for a new side.
The likes of Manchester United and Valencia had been linked with the Frenchman in January, but he is now set for China.
Indeed, according to La Provence, Diarra is in the process of rubber stamping a move to Shandong Luneng Taishan.
The Chinese club __have been in discussions with the former Real Madrid man for a week and now he is a free agent, they are ready to snap him up.
Diarra is set to earn a huge pay rise by moving to the far east, which will help him pay the £7m he owes Lokomotiv Moscow for breaching his contract with the Russian club last year.
