United target will only join if he can play regularly

Leon Bailey has warned Manchester United that he will not join unless he can be guaranteed playing time.

Bailey has been linked __with a move to United throughout the season, __with the teenager having impressed with Racing Genk.

The 19-year-old, who can play on either wing, has scored one goal and provided four assists in 14 league games, while he has impressed in the Europa League with four goals in four appearances.

The Jamaican’s performances even earned him a nomination for the Golden Boy award, which was eventually won by Renato Sanches.

But Bailey is adamant that he will not move to the Premier League club unless he will play regularly.

“I’ve always dreamt of the Premier League,” Bailey told HLN Sport. “But if, let’s say, Man United can’t guarantee me minutes, I will stay at Genk.

“The important thing is that in the near future there a lot of games to come. This is essential for me because I have to take more steps. I’ve already made a lot of progress.

“When I go, where I go? That is a matter for my management. From the moment that there is something concrete, we’ll sit down at the table.”
