Brazilian starlet: My goal is to play for Liverpool

Allan says he is determined to play for Liverpool one day despite work permit regulations making it difficult for him to play football in the United Kingdom.

The Brazilian youngster moved to Liverpool from Internacional in 2015 but he was unable to obtain a work permit that would allow him to play for the club.

Loans to Finnish club SJK and Belgian club Sint-Truiden gave him some game time __with the expectation of returning to an accepted work permit.

However, that was not granted and Allan was sent back out on loan, this time to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.

“I am loaned for a year. Of course, my goal is to play for Liverpool,” he told Kicker. “What happens, if I do not get the necessary number of games to get a work permit for England, I’ll have to see.

“Without the Europa League, these games are more difficult to achieve. In general, I feel very good at Hertha.”

The 19-year-old has been impressed __with what he has seen from Jurgen Klopp’s side, who sit top of the Premier League standings.

“That Jurgen Klopp makes them better is clear… Liverpool is now playing Klopp football – with lots of energy,” Allan added. “The team attacks, the opponent hardly rests. They can be masters (champions).”

If Allan isn’t granted an opportunity to play his football in the UK then Hertha general manager Michael Preetz admits the German club could be ready to offer him a route out.

“If a scenario shows that there is no way for Allan to go to Liverpool due to the rules in summer 2017, we will be there. Our trainers like to work with him, he has huge potential.”
