Manchester United __have told Inter Milan to increase their offer for Matteo Darmian.
The right-back is ready to quit Old Trafford in January after falling out of favour under new boss Jose Mourinho.
Inter are keen on the defender and they are willing to take him on loan for the rest of the season before buying him outright next summer.
However, according to Calciomercato, Manchester United __have been unimpressed by their first offer and want the Italian club to return with an improved bid.
Inter have reportedly proposed taking Darmian on loan for the rest of the season, before buying him permanently for £12.5million in July.
Manchester United, however, deem that amount too low and want any future transfer fee to be around £19m.
