Inter Milan __have not given up hope of signing Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian.
The Italian has found himself playing second fiddle to Antonio Valencia this season and it was thought he would be out the door in January.
However, the right-back recently revealed that wasn't the case and instead he may stay at Old Trafford.
Inter Milan though, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, __have not been put off by Darmian's words and are still hoping to sign him.
The Italian club are reportedly going to make their move in the January transfer window by proposing a loan move with an option to buy the 26-year-old permanently in the summer.
As well as Inter Milan, Darmian has been linked with Barcelona, Juventus and Napoli.
