On Match of the Day, Alan Shearer claimed only Sergio Aguero can be called world-class out of all of the Premier League’s top stars.

It’s a bold claim, given the quality of some of the players currently in he English top-flight, but is the legendary Newcastle United and Blackburn striker right?

Genuine superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have left Manchester United and Tottenham in recent years to ply their trade for giants Real Madrid, but rarely to top talents come to the Premier League?

So, is it possible to make a team of world-class footballers from the top 20 clubs in the country?
