Antonio Conte believes the experience of his Chelsea players will help them to deal with the pressures of leading the Premier League.
The Blues boss watched his side maintain their seven point gap at the top of the table after edging past Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Two goals from Eden Hazard ensured title rivals Tottenham were denied another opportunity of cutting the Blues’ lead for a successive game.
And Conte is confident his players will be able to see out the campaign and claim a title in his maiden campaign in west London.
“Mathematically, the race is open for the other teams. But honestly, when you arrive at this part of the season, I think Chelsea and Tottenham are the two teams that [can] fight for the title,” said Conte.
“I __have players who understand this moment and they are very good at managing this type of situation.
“It is not easy, because the pressure is very high and our name is Chelsea. For a lot of the season, we __have stayed on top of the table, and the pressure is higher for us [than for Tottenham].
“But we have to accept this and fight to the end.”
