Cristiano Ronaldo was congratulated in the Real Madrid dressing room after 100th Champions League goal on Tuesday night.

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes video from Dugout.com, the Portuguese star is applauded by his team-mates and manager Zinedine Zidane after his hat-trick in the 4-2 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League last eight.

The prolific striker's treble not only helped his side progress into the Champions League semi-finals for the seventh straight season, but it also saw him become the first player to reach a century of goals in Europe's premier club competition.

Ronaldo's ton, scored in just 137 matches, includes 85 goals for Real and 15 for previous club Manchester United.

After the game, Zidane came out in defence of Ronaldo though after sections of the Bernabeu crowd were heard whistling at the forward.

Ronaldo appeared to respond by gesturing for the fans to be quiet as he celebrated his goals, but Zidane insists the Portuguese will not face retribution from the club's supporters when Real face Barcelona in this Sunday's El Clasico, live on Sky Sports 1HD.

"In the key moments Ronaldo is always there," said Zidane after the game. "He scored three goals."
