Real Madrid have the most lethal attack in Europe, with Carlo Ancelotti's side being the only team averaging over three goals per game to occupy first spot in the Huawei Team Ranking.

The Santiago Bernabeu side have already found the net 68 times in 20 La Liga outings, averaging 3.40 goals per game, with the 4-1 win over Real Sociedad at the weekend - without star attacker Cristiano Ronaldo - highlighting the potency of their attack.

Luis Enrique's Barcelona average an equally impressive 2.71 goals per game, with Lionel Messi responsible for 22 of his side’s 57 strikes so far.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich complete the podium with an average of 2.33 after their 4-1 surprise loss at the hands of Wolfsburg on Friday.

Premier League leaders Chelsea have been a force to be reckoned with going forward as well so far this season with 52 goals in 23 games (2.26 per match), while Italian champions Juventus are also among Europe's goal machines with an average of 2.10, earning them fifth place in the ranking.

Wolfsburg (2.06), Atletico Madrid (2.05), Olympique Lyonnais (2.04) and Manchester City (2.00) all score at least twice per game on average, while Eintracht Frankfurt complete the top 10 with an average of 1.94.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have been the most goal-shy team across Europe’s top five leagues, scoring just 11 goals in 23 games, an average of 0.48.

Furthermore, Hamburg (0.50), Levante (0.62) Chievo (0.71) and Lille (0.78) are the least dangerous teams going forward from Germany, Spain, Italy and France respectively.
