=Bayern Munich are the clean sheet kings of Europe so far this season, ahead of Barcelona, Juventus and Saint-Etienne.
Pep Guardiola’s men had been struggling to find their best form after the restart of the Bundesliga in January, but Saturday’s 2-0 win over Stuttgart saw them move clear of their rivals in the Huawei Team Ranking as their defence has now proven to be unbeatable on 14 occasions.
Elsewhere, Barcelona beat Athletic Bilbao 5-2 on Sunday as goalkeeper Claudio Bravo conceded twice, meaning they have now kept 13 clean sheets in 22 league games.
Serie A champions Juventus were unable to add to their number of clean sheets at the weekend after a 3-1 win over AC Milan and remain on 13 games without conceding, while Saint-Etienne also still on 13 clean sheets so far in 2014-15, too, as they had to settle for a 3-3 draw with Lens on Friday.
Monaco have also proven to be a force to be reckoned with defensively, keeping a clean sheet 12 times in 24 matches, landing them fifth spot.
Chelsea, Olympique Lyonnais, Roma and Southampton are the four teams to have kept 11 clean sheets so far this season, while Paris Saint-Germain, Villarreal and Montpellier sit joint 10th with 10 clean sheets.
At the bottom end of the ranking, Serie A side Cesena have been struggling the most in defence as they have been able to shut out their opponents just once all season.
Finally, Eintracht Frankfurt (two clean sheets), Elche (two), QPR (four) and Caen (five) are the lowest ranked representatives from Germany, Spain, England and France, respectively.
