The 26-year-old played a key role in County's 2012/13 promotion season from the Conference, scoring 15 goals.

Jolley made 38 appearances last season but was restricted to just seven this term before being sent on loan to Forest Green.

Manager Justin Edinburgh told the club's official website: "I'd personally like to wish Christian all the best for the future and I speak for everyone at the club when I say that.

"Christian was sensational on his loan period with the club and continued that right through to the early part of last season, after his operation we tried everything to get him back to full fitness and rediscover the form he once had.

"Christian was one of the major factors in our promotion and we wish him all the best."

Jolley added: "I would like to thank you all for the support you've given me, you've helped me play some of my best football and that day at Wembley will be with me forever!

"Proud to be apart of Newport's journey and long may the success continue."
