Doncaster have signed Watford striker Uche Ikpeazu on loan for the rest of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.
Uche Ikpeazu: Headed to Keepmoat Stadium
Ikpeazu travelled up to South Yorkshire on Tuesday to meet with Rovers officials ahead of completing his move to the Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old had just this week extended his loan with Doncaster's League One rivals Crewe for the remainder of the campaign but less than 24 hours later the Hornets had recalled Ikpeazu in favour of loaning him to Paul Dickov's side.
Rovers boss Dickov is understood to have watched the teenager in action for Crewe at the weekend in their 1-0 win at Port Vale.
He could make his Doncaster debut away at Chesterfield on Saturday.
Former Reading youth player Ikpeazu spent the second half of last season on loan at Crewe, scoring four goals in 15 appearances. The teenager returned to the Alex in November and netted twice in eight matches for Steve Davis' team.
Meanwhile, Doncaster are still awaiting international clearance for OFI Crete midfielder Abdul Razak.
Razak, formerly of Manchester City, last week signed a deal with Rovers until the end of the season but the necessary paperwork to complete the transfer is still in the hands of the Greek FA.
It is now looking increasingly unlikely that the Ivorian's switch will be concluded in time for the trip to Chesterfield but the club are hopeful it will be done in time for Walsall's visit to the Keepmoat Stadium on February 7.
